 What is Acrylic paint pouring?

Acrylic Paint pouring: if you are not familiar with acrylic pouring, fluid painting or paint pouring, it is a technique used with acrylic paints and a flow medium that create flowing, spontaneous, unique and amazing affects. Depending on the colors that are chosen and the pouring medium or pouring medium recipe that is used….a wide variety of gorgeous affects can be achieved. Each participant will end up with an incredible pieces of abstract art or a pieces that can be embellished and brought to a new expression. People find that they are amazed at their creations and so are their family and friends. If that is not enough, Acrylic pouring it is a really fun creative and spontaneous process that is very relaxing, therapeutic and a healing form of art that is great and accessible to everyone. It's fun and easy!

All supplies are included - canvases, ceramic tile, rocks, paints, gloves, cups, pans to catch the drips, silicone, pouring medium, stir sticks, etc. for everyone to make three pieces of art. We will be using supplies that will be easy to purchase locally. Each participant will choose their own colors, and will get one 12 x 12 canvas, one 4 x 4 ceramic tile and one rock! Instructions and recipes for pouring will be provided so that you can go home and begin creating and exploring this amazing technique on your own.

Two Basic Techniques: Dirty Pour and Flip Cup Techniques  In this class you'll create 2 paintings (one on Canvas and one on a Ceramic Tile) and one Rock using the these two basic techniques. Basically you'll pour several colors into a cup, and pour it from the cup onto the canvas. The paint pours out, and then you tip and tilt the canvas, using gravity to move the paint around. The colors swirl and form a super cool abstract painting!

Demonstrations: A demo that teaches how to mix the paint along with two demos teaching dirty and flip pour techniques will be done. After each demo each participant will try the technique for themselves.

Drying Time/Pick Up: We end up with a lot of paint on the canvases, so they'll need to dry overnight before you can take them home. Plan on picking up your paintings the day after class, or we can set up a time for the following week.

Stevi began her journey with a focus on healing herself. In the process of her work she discovered her soul's path...her heart's desire...the truth and purpose of her life at this time. In 2003 she decided to put aside her art...which she loved...and step into a healing practice, and the role of teacher. She recognized that her passion...her soul's desire was to teach and assist others in their healing process and with connecting to their life's purpose with clarity and zeal. She taught for the Four Winds Society from 2003 to 2006. In April of 2006, she took another step on her path and decided that it was time to share her knowledge and experience in a new way...and from her unique perspective. She began teaching, created a newsletter to link many in the healing community, and designing sacred journeys. In 2011 she began studying Raw Foods and this started her journey into formulation. The beginning of this chapter was the formulation of a chocolate that is focused on improving brain function along with tasting good. Following that she moved to Colorado and not long after began formulating with a company. She now formulates tinctures and delicious treats for clients. She is also a formulator of C60 products which are a longevity supplement.  After years of working with herbs and supplementation to assist herself and her clients she is now bringing that to the world in exciting and elevated products and concepts through Café
